Our verdict

IWI Host is a UK-registered VPS provider with servers spread across North America, much of Europe, Israel, Russia and Hong Kong, which makes it most useful to buyers who care about picking an unusual location. Anonymity is not on offer. Its terms allow the operating company, Host Telecom Ltd., to ask at any time for proof of account details, including a copy of a personal ID card or company registration documents. There is no trigger or limit attached to that clause, so an ID request could come whenever the provider chooses.

IWI Host also asks for a lot at signup: individuals must give their full name, residential address, phone number and email, and each person or company is limited to one account. Email confirmation follows the first server order. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT are accepted alongside cards and the Russian SberBank and SBP systems, but none of the listed coins is privacy-focused, and paying in crypto does little when a real name and home address are already on file.

IWI Host sells VPS plans only, ranging from small 1 GB machines to 48 GB configurations. The free Vesta control panel comes with every plan, as does baseline L3/L4 DDoS mitigation. Windows and custom ISO installs are restricted to the Armor tier and above, and Windows ships with a trial licence only, so a proper licence is a separate concern. Port speed holds for the first 20 TB each month before dropping to 100 Mbit/s. The provider advertises activation within 10 minutes, a 99.9% uptime SLA and support replies in under 15 minutes.

IWI Host offers a 48-hour money-back guarantee, with refunds sent through the original payment method after a ticket. Free trials exist only for business clients and may require company paperwork. Its policies are blunt about cooperation: it says it will immediately hand over violator information on official law enforcement requests and that it is not a blocking-bypass service. Open proxies and crypto mining are banned, and the privacy policy describes collecting IP addresses, browser data and actions, with cookies possibly used for ad targeting elsewhere.

IWI Host makes sense for legitimate projects that need a VPS in a specific region, such as Russia, Ukraine or Hong Kong, and whose owners have no problem being identified. Anyone hosting something sensitive, or simply wanting an account not tied to a real identity, should rule it out: the signup data, open-ended ID clause, fast hand-over policy and ad-tracking cookies all work against privacy.
