Hostoff is a UK-registered VPS provider running servers in the Netherlands and Poland, aimed at buyers who want quick, DDoS-filtered virtual machines and are comfortable paying in common cryptocurrencies. Nothing on its site mentions ID checks, either now or in the future. That silence is not a promise, though. Its privacy policy says it may disclose personal data when required by law or by valid requests from public authorities, and the provider does not advertise a no-logs policy.
Hostoff's signup asks only for a verified email address, with no credit card required. Name and phone number are collected only when customers choose to provide them, but IP address and location data are recorded, and customer data is kept for three days after a contract ends. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT sit alongside card and bank transfer, so paying without a bank link is possible. Monero is not among the listed options, which matters to anyone who wants payments kept off a transparent public ledger. Prices are in euros.
Hostoff sells only VPS plans, from small entry-level instances up to large-memory machines, managed through its own proprietary control panel and billing system. Every server gets automatic L3–L4 DDoS mitigation from PletX at no extra cost, a public IPv4 address plus an IPv6 /64, and unmetered traffic on ports up to 10 Gbps under a fair usage policy. Linux distributions and Windows Server are offered, with custom ISOs available through support. Windows comes with only a trial license, so a full licence has to be sourced separately. The provider says deployment takes around 15 seconds and advertises 99.982% average uptime.
Hostoff's usage rules are tighter than its crypto-friendly checkout suggests. Public Tor nodes, public VPNs and open proxies are banned without prior written agreement, cryptocurrency mining also needs sign-off, and customers consent to automated scanning for traffic disguised as third-party resources. Refunds are discretionary and reserved for exceptional cases, with none once the service has been used or seven days have passed. Support runs during business hours with no guaranteed response time.
Hostoff makes sense for anyone after a fast, well-protected VPS in the EU who wants to pay in Bitcoin or stablecoins without handing over ID. Tor relay operators, VPN resellers and Monero users will find its rules and payment list limiting. The explicit disclosure clause and the logging of IP and location data also mean it is not built for threat models that need the host to know as little as possible.
