What a no-logs policy covers

A no-logs policy is a provider's written commitment not to record connection metadata, IP addresses, or activity on your server beyond what is needed to run the service. Policies differ in scope: some cover only the control panel, others cover network traffic as well. Read the provider's policy to see exactly what is and is not retained.

A no-logs policy is a promise, not a technical guarantee. It is most meaningful when paired with a no-KYC signup and a private payment method, so there is little data to log in the first place.

How providers qualify

Providers are included when their published policies contain an explicit no-logs commitment. If a policy is removed or weakened, the provider's change history records it and the provider drops off this list.

Frequently asked questions

Can a no-logs provider still hand over data?

A provider can only hand over data it has. A genuine no-logs policy limits what exists, but billing records, emails, and payment data may still be kept. Pair no-logs hosting with minimal signup data.

Are no-logs claims audited?

Rarely for hosting providers. This list reflects published policies; it does not certify them.
